Shopify Analytics can now show activity from supported apps alongside your usual sales and traffic reports. Marketing emails sent, loyalty rewards redeemed and other app events appear in the reports you already use, so you no longer need to open each app to see those numbers.

Why it matters for your store

Once app activity sits next to your sales, you can compare tools on the same scale. You can check how many emails each marketing app sent over a period, or track how often loyalty rewards were redeemed over time. You can also filter and group these results by details the app shares, such as campaign or message type.

What you see depends on which installed apps support app events and what they send to Shopify. If none of your apps do, the new category will not show data yet.

What to do this week

  • Open Analytics and a report you already use, then look for the App Events category in the configuration panel.
  • If you see it, pick one metric from an app you rely on and compare it with a number you already track.
  • If you do not see it, nothing is needed yet. Check again when you add or update an app.
