SimGym, the app that runs AI shopper simulations on your store, now lets you start a test with a specific shopping goal. Until now you could compare themes. You can now also test three things:

  • Entire shopping journeys: AI shoppers move through your store to show where your biggest points of friction are.
  • Product discovery: AI shoppers browse your store and check whether it leads them to products that match what they want.
  • Add to cart confidence: AI shoppers check whether your product details give them enough information to buy.

Recommendations you can act on

Recommendations are more direct now. Each one has a numbered marker placed on the matching spot in your store, so you can see exactly where a change belongs. Each recommendation also links to a summary of the AI shopper's visit, and you can watch playback videos to see where the shopper ran into friction and what they responded to well.

Why it matters: a clearer picture of where shoppers get stuck can point you to fixes on product pages, navigation or the path to checkout, without guesswork. The item does not give pricing or sales results, so treat these tests as a diagnostic, not a promise.

What to do this week

If you already use SimGym, run one test with the goal closest to your problem. If shoppers seem to hesitate before adding to cart, start with add to cart confidence. Then open one recommendation, watch its playback video and look at the numbered marker on your store. Make changes only after you have checked the evidence yourself.
